From 1995 to 1999 I worked at the Technical University of Aachen (Informatik V) in Germany focusing on research in distributed and replicated database performance.
From April 2000 to June 2002 I worked as a performance engineer for Red Brick Data Warehouse at IBM/Informix in California.
Since June 2002 I'm working on DB2 and XML database performance at IBM Silicon Valley Lab.
From 1992 to 1999 I supported several Hospitals in Tanzania in the introduction of computer systems to improve hospital administration. This was remote and local work, spending 21 months in Tanzania. (More)
